Roll up for this year's Grand Procession

IT’S the 40th year of Bridport Carnival!

There’s loads happening this year – both on the carnival weekend and in the build up to the big day.

The main weekend is on Saturday August 20 and Sunday August 21.

The Grand Carnival Procession sets off from St Swithun’s Road at 7.30pm on Saturday August 20.

It will snake its way through the town centre and will be followed by a family disco from about 8pm at Bridport Con Club in North Street. Entry is free for all.

There will also be dancing to the Vinyl Monkeys in South Street from 9pm to 10.30pm.

The funfair will also be open at Asker Meadows.
